step by step smoky eyes gothic makeup tutorial

Hi girls and happy Tuesday! I have one awesome makeup tutorial, which I wanted to show you  for such a long time. It is one of my favorite smoky makeup and I think it looks so beautiful on any eye shape and colour. And even though this makeup is very dramatic, it looks very elegant and absolutely not vulgar. To create this smokey and slightly gothic look you need to follow few steps:

step by step smoky eyes gothic makeup tutorial makeup brown eyes

1. Let's start from priming and filling our eyebrows. The next step is to put white eye pencil on the inner corner of the eye and smudge it with your finger;

2. Now we will highlight inner corner with white eyeshadow and put some light grey on the eyelid;

3. Now take the black pencil and start to create a shape on the outer corner of the eye. It will be a base for the black eyeshadow and will make it last longer, line your lower lash line;

4. Set the black pencil with matte black or glitter eyeshadow and highlight your brow bone;

5. Line your eyes with liquid or gel eyeliner, don't forget about the inner corner.

6. Last steps: put black waterproof pencil on your waterline, add some mascara and false lashes.

You can easily transform your daily makeup to this evening gothic look and it will not take too much time. The main colours here are black and white, which are universal for any outfit you will wear. But you can easily substitute shades to match your dress. Hope you liked my tutorial, don't forget to follow my blog for more amazing looks and review. Bye, bye ladies, I'll talk to you very soon :)

MeNow Eye and Lip Pencils / Review & Swatches

Hi girls, how are you today? Recently I was walking around on the online beauty stores and trapped on these eye and lip pencils by MeNow. 12 pieces of beautiful pencils just for few dollars sounded very seductive at that moment so I decided to buy and try them out. All Asian beauty products, which I picked previously were super amazing and I was satisfied with their quality. So let's see if these pencils by MeNow are good as well.

MeNow eye and pencil set comes in a very simple plastic beg and includes 12 pencils 1,1 g / 0,038 oz each. It is a regular pencil, which you need to sharp manually. I actually prefer to use them, because I can decide by myself how sharp and what shape I want for my pencils :) Though some girls find regular eye and lip pencils not economical. Also MeNow's pencils have a very tight cover, which is a great con for those who are as clumsy as me. I'm sure I will never loose any of these covers :3

Each colour of eye/lip pencils has it's number and here is my little description for every shade:

001 - matte black;
006 - middle brown (red undertone) ;
016 -  light brown (yellow undertone)
019 - fuchsia color;
022 - dark terracotta;
028 - bright red (pink undertone)  ;
033 - matte white;
034 - grey silver (frost finish);
035 - navy blue;
036 - sky blue;
038 - fresh green with frosty finish;
040 - goldish olive with frosty finish.

So most of the pencils are matte, I have just few frosty shades in the set. They are all well pigmented and I can say they are easy to work with. The only problematic pencil for me is white, I just wish it was more creamy than hard, so I can use it on the waterline. On the other hand hard pencil stays longer on it's place and don't smudge during the day. I also like that all of these pencils have triple function. As I understand they are suitable for eyes, lips and eyebrows. You can use them anywhere you want. The only thing I would change in this pencil set is color selection. I would substitute few browns with purple or baby pink shades.

I think MeNow eye and lip pencils set is a very good budget variant for beginner makeup artist. So many different pencils to play with for a very cheap price. Unfortunately I didn't find a link to buy exactly the same pencil set as I have, but you can buy almost the same colours here in travel size or in automatic pencil design. Thank you to stay with me ladies, I wish you all to have a good time. Kisses!

Lots of love,
Liz

(before) - my natural eyebrows; (after) - filled eyebrows with Model in a Bottle Eyebrow Sealer

Hi everyone! Girls we all know how it is important to have a beautiful eyebrows, they are like a frame for our face. And sometimes small imperfection or slattern shape can ruin the whole makeup look. The best way to make sure that our brows will stay on their places is to set them with a special gel. It is like a hair spray or mousse for our hair. And today I will tell you about recently discovered eyebrow product - Model in a Bottle Eyebrow Sealer*.

It comes in a small 15 ml bottle which looks like a nail polish. But instead of the brush you receive a small applicator, which looks like a mascara's wand. It is very comfortable to apply eyebrow sealer and comb your brows at the same moment. To tell the truth I never saw eyebrow gels in such packaging, but I like it very much and I guess it is more economic. You will also receive another brush, in case you prefer a different way to apply the product. The sealer itself has a liquid consistency and almost transparent rosy colour.

Model in a Bottle Eyebrow Sealer is an amazing product. It holds eyebrows for the whole day. No flakes, no dust, no shine. It dries with a matte finish and works well with any product you will use to fill your brows. And the most amazing is that a little of this product goes a long way. You will need just few drops of long lasting eyebrow sealer to hold your brows all day long. I applied it early in the morning and took a look on my brows just at night - wonderful result, my brows looked freshly done.

My verdict - I strongly recommend Long Lasting Eyebrow Sealer. Especially now when the weather is hot, and the skin becomes oily and wet, we all need to make sure that our make up will last all day long. I think this product will suit everyone because it is transparent, it has dual applicator system and works whether you use to fill your brows - pencil, wax or powder. Thanks to be with me ladies, I'll see you very soon. Bye!

Lots of love,

Perfect Winged Eyeliner Tutorial

classic eyeliner tutorial, perfect winged eyeliner tutorial

Hello ladies! Today I decided to show you the way how I create my winged eyeliner. I know there are lots of good detailed tutorials and pictorials on internet. But I still feel that it is my mission to help some of you. So I hope this little tutorial will help you ladies to learn how to create a perfect winged eyeliner.

The most common products we use to create this look are pencil eyeliner (eyepencils and kohls), gel or creamy eyeliner and liquid liner. Usually I'm using liquid liner, but if you want to reach smoky effect you can substitute it with pencil or creamy eyeliner and smudge it after.

winged eyeliner styles, winged eyeliner tutorial step by step

1. Before to start make sure that your eye lid is well prepared, prime it with a primer, foundation, powder or matte eyeshadows - anything you have or need for makeup at the moment. The next step is to find out angle of your future line. For a classic wing line we are using our lover lash line as a guide. It is simple, just draw a line up, as it would continue your lower eye lid;

2. Now line your upper lash line as closer to lashes as possible. It will not look beautiful if you leave some empty spaces between your lashes and the lid;

3. Then we need to draw an upper line connecting outer corner of the eye and the tip of our wing. The thinnest line of our eyeliner will be on the inner corner of the eyes, and the thickest on the outer. It is one of the most important rules of beautiful winged eye;

4. Fill the empty spaces and if you need go back with eyeliner to fix the imperfections or to make it thicker.

We all know that practice makes perfect, so don't get upset if your winged eyeliner will not be perfect at first. If you are a novice try to use eye marker. It is more easy to control and there is absolutely no difference between looks created with marker or any other eyeliners. And don't forget that all people have different eye shapes and skin types. If your eyes are not extended, but hooded or round you will need a different technique of applying winged eyeliner. We girls are all beautiful in our own ways, we just need to learn how to compliment our values :)

Hugs and kisses,
Liza xoxo

Revlon Top Speed Nail Lacquer in `Lily` / Review

revlon nail polish review swatches, revlon cosmetics review

Hello ladies! In my recent Little Beauty Haul post I told you my first impression about this spring nail lacquer by Revlon. I started to love pastel lavender shade right after all this `pastel gothic` obsession and I really think every girl should own clothes and products in his shade. Not because it is popular or something, but just because lavender shades are very feminine and make you look younger. But anyways, now it is a time to talk about Revlon Top Speed Lacquer in details and show you some pictures.

I picked Top Speed lacquer in `Lily` shade, because it compliments spring time and looks very neat and fresh on the nails. I would describe this colour as a pale pastel lavender shade with a glossy finish look. Formula of Top Speed lacquer is also adorable, a little bit watery, but I think it is just because lacquer is very fresh yet. `Lily` is very pigmented, one coat is enough for full coverage, but I used two, just to make sure it will look beautiful on pictures. As it calls Top Speed Revlon claims that their nail lacquer dries in 60 seconds.And it actually dries very fast, not in 1 minute but few minutes are enough. Great news for all girls who likes to do their mani 5 minutes before hang out :)

And now about some cons. I'm officially a housewife now so I take care about the house and dishes and my husband and everything that demands my nails to look bad :) So Revlon Top Speed lasts just for 2 days for me and after I need to redo my nails again. But I bet for girls who don't do much house work it will work longer without chipping . Or if you have a good top to protect the colour.

But overall I'm happy with this lacquer, especially with it's beautiful shade. And I think I will definitely try more nail polishes by Revlon. I hope you also liked to hear my thought. Tell me what you think about Revlon Top Speed Nail Lacquer in comments. Wish you an nice day ladies!

Hello lovelies! Hope you had a great weekend, mine was just awesome. Today I want to talk about my newly favourite lip product - Revlon Lip Butter in `Sweet Tart`. I need to confess that it was my first meeting with Revlon Lip Butter, but now I don't imagine my life without it anymore. I decided to try Revlon Lip Butter just because many beauty bloggers was saying such an amazing things about it. They purchase and repurchase Lip Butters again and again. And I actually never believed that it is so amazing as people say, so I decided to give it a try.  And I was so excited to share with you my thoughts and swatches. So here we go!

Formula of Revlon Lip Butter is a lovely combination of a moisturizing lip balm and a very pigmented lipstick. I have a dry skin on my lips and most of the lip products soaks and become dry on my lips in time. But Lip Butter by Revlon stays soft and creamy for a very long time. I also like that it is buildable - you can apply lip butter again and again to reach a deeper pigmentation, or just apply it in one layer for a sheer look. Staying power is also good - it lasts for few hours without fading.

And the colour I've chose `Sweet Tart` is absolutely adorable. It is a very bright cool pink shade with a beautiful glossy finish, you don't even need to put your lip gloss on the top.I put two coats to reach good opacity and colour pigmentation. I also like that it gives a volumizing effect to lips. My lips are quite small and not plump, but thanks to lip butter by Revlon they look kind tasty :) Oh and I forgot to mention that it has an awesome tasty smell!

In the end I want to recommend for all of you sweets who never tried Revlon Lip Butter. I promise you will like it as much as I did! They have an awesome range of beautiful shades and everyone will find what they're looking for. You will enjoy long-lasting hydrating formula and crazy pigmentation. Please tell me if you tried Revlon Lip Butter before, I want to know your opinion.

Lot's of love,
Liza xx

Body Moisturizer Sou by Natura / Review

Natura cosmeticos revisão

Good day sweethearts! I finally decided to sit and write a review for one brazilian beauty treat - body lotion by amazing brazilian company which produces natural beauty products. It calls Natura and they have an amazing range of different products - hair and body treatment, makeup products and even accessories.

As I never tried anything By Natura I picked the most simple product to start with. This body moisturizer goes in a super simple, but very cute packaging. The idea of this plastic packaging is that you can squeeze out all product till the last drop. We all know how it's hard to reach the bottom of lotion's bottle :) But you will not have the same problems with this bag. And what I want to mention is the colour - isn't it gorgeous!

Formula of Sou moisturizer is also very simple but very cool, it was developed for normal skin type. It includes coconut oil and glycerin, which  are good for nourishing of skin. Consistency is a bit watery, but it perfectly absorbs into the skin and lasts for 24 hours. Smell reminds me of chamomile, even though it was not included the list of ingredients. But in some time it transforms in amazingly sweet and light odor on your skin. Love it :3

I enjoyed this Body Moisturizer Sou by Natura very much and will definitely try more products by this company. Thank you to stay with me girls, I hope it was interesting to read. Have a nice day, I will see you soon again <3

Lots of love,

Dramatic Makeup Tutorial

black and green makeup tutorial, step by step evening makeup
Hello beauties! Hope you're doing great :) I finally started to learn some professional makeup basics and I want you to show my results. Here is a step by step makeup tutorial that I created using pencil technique. It is a very basic makeup, but using it as an example you can change colours and the shape to create your own unique dramatic look. Let's start :)

black and green makeup tutorial, step by step evening makeup, double eyeliner

1. The first step is to prime your eyelid - I used a very light neutral eyeshadow and put it with a brush all over my eyelid up to my brow bone and the inner and outer corners. With a very sharp pencil start to create a shape (frame) which we will fill in the future. Don't close your eye while doing this and pay attention to your eye anatomy;

2. Now start to fill it in with the same black eye pencil. Press stronger on the outer corner and more light closer to the center of the eyelid. Blend eye pencil with the brush;

3. Start to put dark green eyeshadow on the lower lash line lining it out repeating the shape of your first line. Leave a space between these lines;

4. Put a yellow or peachy eyeshadow on the first half of your eyelid. Blend dark green eyeshadow with a brighter and lighter green shade till your cheek bone. If your colour look too bright you can reduce it using neutral eyeshadow which is the same shade as your skin;

5. Set black pencil with matte black eyeshadow, but some black eyeshadow on the lower lash line to make green colour deeper. Create a beautiful sharp line on the inner corner of your eye;

6. Highlight inner corner of the eyes and space between eyeliner. It will make your eyeliner look more bright and neat. Clean all your mistakes and line your upper waterline with black pencil. Finish with mascara and false lashes (optional).

I was trying to explain this process in detail and I really hope it helped you. Let me know in comments what you thing about this makeup. Thank you ladies to be with me, I'll talk to you very soon. Wish you all to have a great week. Kisses and hugs!

Lots of love,
Liz

OPI, Revlon lip butter review, maccosmetics brush
too faced palette review, opi lacquer review
mac brush review, revlon lip butter review, opi essie lacquer review

Hi ladies! Recently I bought  few beauty treats for me and decided that it will be fun to show them to you and share my first impressions. And sure later I'll write a detail review for these products with my opinion and swatches. But for now here is a brief overview of my recent beauty purchases...

Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Palette

I wanted Boudoir Eyes palette for such a long time. It is really amazing and includes all necessary neutral shades to create a classic everyday makeup look. And I really like it's design - simple aluminium case with magnetic closure and a very girlish rosy colour. Plus you will receive a small glamour guide with 3 day -to- night makeup looks. Everything a girl needs to be happy !

O.P.I. Nail Lacquer in `Isn't That Precious?`

I really really wanted some very soft baby pink shade in my collection. This shade is very sheer and doesen't provide a full coverage from the first layer, but the finish look is very glossy. Will definitely use it for a romantic dinner or some formal occasions.

Bourjois Flower Perfection Loose Powder

I put this Bourjois Powder in my Spring Beauty Wishlist and the reason why I wanted is so much is because I never tried translucent powders before and my current powder is on it's end already. I heard from the girls who use them frequently that they don't buy a usual powder anymore. The first impression is quite good , but I want to use it for some time before to tell you my opinion.

Revlon Lip Butter in `Sweet Tart`

It was my first Revlon Lip Butter (review) and I think I will not be the last:) I liked it very much and already started to write a review with swatches for you guys. I love how it cares and moisturizes my lips, because I have a very dry skin. And this colour is so bright and cheeky, everyone will be a center of attenbtion with Revlon Sweet Tart on their lips.

Mac Kabuki brush № 182

One more item from my Spring Beauty Wishlist is kabuki brush by Mac. Before I had kabuki brush from Avon and girls, you don't even imagine how scratchy it is! My skin is not sensitive but it is very unpleasant to put powder on your face with a scratchy brush. And kabuki by Mac is very soft, full and blends powder on the skin very good.

Revlon Top Speed Nail Enamel in `Lily`

I'm a sucker for a pastel lavender shades like this Revlon Top Speed lacquer (review). I think it is a very spring fresh colour, isn't it? By the way, thanks to this lacquer I finally understand what shade I want for my bedroom walls :) It dries very fast but I think longer than 60 seconds as Revlon promises. But I'm still impressed.

Isabelle Dupont Nail Polish

I bought this nail polish, nail glitters actually, just because wanted some shimmer in my collection. It is a simple transparent nail polish with middle sized glitters - dark green, red, blue and silver. I guess this glitters would fit New Year's Eve or club party manicure, so I will use it just for a very special occasions. And what I like about Isabelle Dupont polish is that glitters do not fall out even after few days of wearing nail polish.

Thank you sweeties for the visit, I hope it was interesting for you to read my Little beauty Haul post. I wish you an amazing day and lot's of happiness. Don't forget to follow my blog for more interesting articles and reviews. I'll talk to you very soon, bye, bye.

Sincerely Yours,
Liza
