It doesn’t cake or flake during the day, but it can accentuate large pores and wrinkles, so you’ll need to learn how to apply it correctly. I used it on the highest point of my face - under the brow bone, above my cheekbones, on the bridge of my nose, and a bit on my cupid's bow and chin.
